As a group we are interested in the activation of collective identities at the local level with the main means of craft and experiential learning. Collective identities that can link local actions to issues and themes that transcend the local and require global solutions: climate change and refugee crisis, natural resource management, global standards production and consumption.
Placing craft/making and cultural production in a specific physical space, we ‘appropriate’ the space and we experientially connect the production within him (material and immaterial) with its needs group/community, creating in an inclusive manner places welcoming for people, feelings and ideas.
In collaboration with kindergartens and schools, we design and implement educational crafts, carpentry and visual arts workshops. Connecting creative imagination with material construction children and teenagers
In collaboration with youth/resident groups we design and implement participatory design work plans. Small interventions of light urban equipment can transform an abandoned public space into a lively meeting place, rest and play.
